Chakras

I think we’re going to be on chakras, off and on, for a while.  I’ve started a book to try to make chakras a little more accessible at deeper levels for those new to chakras.

To understand Chakras thoroughly takes time, and most people don’t have that level of time to commit to them.  I've always found them fascinating, so my goal is to pass on some of that more in-depth knowledge in a way that will make it easier for people to understand.

For example, when we start looking at Chakras, we find that it involves our chakras, generally there are believed to be seven; however, some systems use nine, or 12. In addition, it involves the Kundalini energy that originates in the root chakra, and the “prana,” which is the Sanskrit word for the life force that feeds the chakras.

I have studied chakras along with many aspects of Pagan and Eastern spiritual practice for most of my 60 plus years, and I have over 30 years of teaching experience.  In the course of the book, I will cover the basics of Chakras as well as some of the chakras available to us in addition to the seven main ones.  If you seek to study chakras on your own, you will discover that everything involved in their study has a Sanskrit name, so while those names will be in their specific sections, the book will include a glossary with definitions and explanations.

A few years back, I wrote several blogs about the very basics of chakras, and that I will update them and run them again for those who missed them.  My goal is to lead you to a deeper understanding of chakras and how you can improve your lives through healing and tuning your chakras.

This leads me to my questions:

  • What questions do you have about chakras?
  • What aspects do you particularly want to know about?
  • Which chakras interest you the most?

I welcome your questions and your experiences.  You may post your questions below, on our website at Pagan Realms, or on Facebook.
